Our Intro to Olympic Weightlifting sessions serve as your comprehensive initiation into Olympic weightlifting. In this hour-long session, our seasoned coaches specializing in Olympic weightlifting provide personalized guidance and insights into the following key aspects:
1. Understanding the Fundamentals and Benefits: Delve into the core principles and advantages of Olympic weightlifting, gaining a profound understanding of this dynamic and rewarding fitness discipline.
2. Deciphering the Lifts: Explore the essence of the snatch and clean and jerk, learning how these fundamental lifts contribute to enhancing your strength, power, and overall athletic performance.

Our Intro to Olympic Weightlifting sessions are not just informative introductions but also a warm welcome to our fitness community, ensuring you’re fully prepared and confident to embark on your Olympic weightlifting journey.
Intro to Olympic Weightlifting class is $15 per person and open to all levels of fitness. Must be 14 years or older to participate.
Our Intro to Olympic Weightlifting classes are open to all levels of fitness.
For your Intro class, we recommend the following:
- Come at least 20 mins before class to allow enough time for parking, checking in, and waivers.
- Please come dressed in workout clothes.
- Shoes: Lifters or Cross training shoes are recommended. Tennis shoes work great as well.
- Bring water or water bottle. If you forget your water bottle, Tribe Athletics sells waters for $2.50 and also has a water refill station for your bottles
- Fresh towels are provided.
