What is HYROX?

HYROX is a type of fitness programming that consists of a mix of functional movements, strength exercises, and endurance training, with athletes completing 1km runs between each station. HYROX is a global fitness competition designed to test your strength, endurance, and grit. It’s the ultimate test of fitness, whether you’re a seasoned athlete or looking for a new challenge!

 

Join us for the HYROX PFT!

HYROX PFT at Tribe Athletics – October 27th at 10am: Join us on October 27th for our very first HYROX Personal Fitness Test (PFT) at Tribe Athletics! The HYROX PFT is a great way to introduce yourself to HYROX training while giving you a clear measure of your current fitness level. This PFT consists of:

  • 1000m Run (outdoor or treadmill at 2% incline)
  • 50 Burpee Broad Jumps (90 cm)
  • 100 Stationary Lunges (Fully Extended)
  • 1000m Row
  • 30 Push Ups (Hand Release)
  • 100 Wallballs (6kg male / 4 kg female)

This event is open to everyone, Tribe Athletics membership is not required. To register please fill out the form below and we will contact you with more information closer to the event.
